The Catholic Foundation is looking for someone in the diocese who actively demonstrates a life of service, prayer and giving in their parish. The 2018 Steward of the Year will receive two tickets to the 12th Annual Foundation of Faith Dinner: Walking with the Saints, and dinner for two at a local restaurant. The winning parish will win a cash prize of $1,000. Nominations must be submitted by pastors or parish administrators by April 27.

St. Patrick Cathedral Historic Preservation Fund Hits Goal of $1 Million

Frank W. Gorman, Jr., a devout Catholic and lifelong St. Patrick Cathedral parishioner left a generous gift to the St. Patrick Cathedral Historic Preservation Fund, helping the fund reach its goal of $1 million. The campaign to establish a permanent fund for the Cathedral was initiated by Fr. Rick Matty† in 2011. Since then, more than 400 donors have given generously to the preservation fund.
