The City of El Paso is hosting a Community Memorial Service to reflect and remember the victims of the mass shooting and to offer a place of healing and support for the community. The memorial gathering is scheduled for Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 7pm at Southwest University Park in downtown El Paso and will be simulcast live at three satellite locations––Convention Center, Cleveland Square Park, and Ponder Park.
Mayor Dee Margo shared, “El Paso is resilient and our region is going to come together to show that we will not be defined by this act of violence, but rather by our outpouring of love. This memorial gathering will allow our entire region to unite in support of those injured, and mourn those who have lost their lives.”
