The 13th Annual Foundation of Faith Dinner: When We Sing, We Pray Twice with singer songwriter Matt Maher would not be possible without the generosity of our event sponsors. An anonymous donor established a Named Fund in memory of Fr. Rick Matty† with a gift of $10,000 in honor of his May 6 heavenly birthday. Fr. Matty was a beloved priest who came to El Paso in 1986. He passed away suddenly on July 16, 2012.

Brother Nick Gonzalez, FSC, Principal of Cathedral High School, is leaving El Paso to serve as the new Assistant to the Provincial of the District of San Francisco New Orleans. A farewell gathering is planned for Saturday, June 22 from 4-8pm.

Progress, the Catholic Ministry Appeal, provides operational funds for diocesan ministries and charities that reach out to those in need, inspire youth, minister to families, and help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Office of Marriage and Family Life is one of those vital ministries.

The Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso is proud to introduce the nominees for the 2019 Steward of the Year Contest. The Steward of the Year is someone who actively demonstrates an exemplary life of prayer, service, and giving at their parish. The winner will be announced in July.
