Tim Ackert, a 1962 graduate of Cathedral High School, and his wife, Norma, have pledged $1.78 million to Cathedral High School. It is the second largest single gift made to the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso.

The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso launched the 2021 Progress Catholic Ministry Appeal last month with the goal of raising $1.9 million by the end of the calendar year.
