The Catholic Foundation has been selected as the September Nonprofit of the Month at The Manor at Ten Eleven. We will receive 10% of the food and ticket sales from all public events held in September. Join us for very special private and public events, and an inside look at The Manor!

As we enter the back-to-school season, let’s take time to prepare ourselves spiritually. Together we pray for the safety and sanctity of children, and for the wisdom and holiness of our students, teachers, and parents.

The Catholic Foundation received 24 nominations for this year’s contest. The Steward of the Year will be recognized during the 16th Annual Foundation of Faith Event.

Diocesan Migrant & Refugee Services (DMRS) hosted the unveiling of a bright and inspiring mural by artists Kelsey Kilcrease and Nikki Diaz. Located on the side of the DMRS building, the “You Belong” mural is a message of love and unity.

Edith Stein loved and nurtured those around her during the Nazi occupation. This category recognizes service to those who suffered the loss of loved ones.

John of God is the patron saint of the sick, nurses and hospitals. This category recognizes urgent service to the sick, especially to those suffering from mental illness.

Saint Teresa is the mother of the poor. This Steward of the Year category recognizes the service to those who experience a lack of resources and those who administered to them via food pantries and delivery of food to the homebound.

John Baptist de la Salle is the patron saint of teachers. This category recognizes the service of catechists and Catholic school teachers.

Toibio Romo is the patron saint of Mexican migrants and border crossers. This Steward of the Years category recognizes the service to refugees and immigrants.
