The Catholic Foundation is pleased to announce the results of the 2019 Mass Attendance Count.

In order to have a more accurate account of Mass attendance, Bishop Mark Seitz asked all parishes, missions, seminaries, and convents to conduct the 2019 Mass Attendance Count twice in the month of October. The count was conducted during the weekends of October 12 & 13 and 19 & 20.

Stewardship Coordinator Karina Sandoval was responsible for receiving and averaging both of the weekend counts, which included the English, Spanish, Bilingual, Latin and Filipino Masses.

The results are as follows:
Weekend of October 12 & 13 — 64,172 attendees
Weekend of October 19 & 20 — 66,018 attendees
Average number of attendees for both weekends — 65,097
