Diocesan Migrant & Refugee Services (DMRS) hosted the unveiling of a bright and inspiring mural by artists Kelsey Kilcrease and Nikki Diaz. Located on the side of the DMRS building, the “You Belong” mural is a message of love and unity.
“In this mural, we wanted to depict a mother and child; Mary and Jesus. Their relationship, their bond is the ultimate symbol of love, sacrifice, and humanity” — Kelsey Kilcrease and Nikki Diaz
Contributions of prayer, service, and giving to Diocesan Migrant & Refugee Services (DMRS) continue to make vital work possible.
The Catholic Foundation manages the DMRS Endowment Fund, a permanent endowed fund established by the organization to continue to provide a comprehensive range of services to the community. We’re on a mission to grow their permanent endowed fund to $1 million in 2022.
Diocesan Migrant and Refugee Services, Inc. opened its doors in 1986 in collaboration with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. A ministry of the Catholic Diocese of El Paso, DMRS is the only full-service immigration legal aid clinic serving low-income immigrants and refugees residing in the southwestern United States.
DMRS provides vital legal representation to foreign-born priests, newly ordained priests who were not born in the United States, and religious workers who wish to serve in the Diocese of El Paso.
