The Catholic Foundation launched the 2023 Catholic Ministry Appeal at two kick-off events in El Paso and West Texas over the last two weeks with Appeal Leaders, Pastors, and Administrators. Diocesan parishes will conduct announcements this weekend and commitments to the Appeal will start the weekend of February 3rd and 4th. The Progress: Catholic Ministry Appeal, is an annual campaign that supports 15 ministries in 10 counties in the Diocese of El Paso. The work of these ministries is only possible through generous donations from donors who invest in the works of our ministries and put their faith into action.

The Catholic Foundation invites donors to help raise $1.9 Million in support of the Catholic Ministry Appeal. Money raised through the Catholic Ministry Appeal **represents nearly 40% of all operating funds ** supporting the pastoral, spiritual, educational, and human service programs that benefit tens of thousands of individuals throughout the 10 counties of the Diocese of El Paso. When you make your donation you do something significant for seminarians, our religious formation and diaconate programs, Catholic Campus Ministry, and vocations, just to name a few. Even a small gift can have a large impact.

The theme of this year’s appeal is “Nurturing our Family of Faith” and inspires us to receive Christ with faith and strengthens us so that we may nourish others and respond to the needs of our Catholic community.
