CORONAVIRUS RELIEF BILL — What does this mean for Charitable Deductions?

One provision of the Coronavirus Relief Bill allows taxpayers who do not itemize their taxes the ability to deduct up to $300 in cash donations made to a charity in 2020. Even if you take a standard deduction, this applies to you! This is a great opportunity to reduce your tax burden while helping the diocesan community through contributions to the Foundation.

If you would like to make a donation to help continue supporting the Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso, click here. You can donate to an endowment for your favorite parish, ministry or school with a forever gift, contribute to Progress: the Catholic Ministry Appeal, and support the 14th Annual Foundation of Faith Event: Come and See. There is something for everyone.

If you have question or need assistance, contact Major Gifts Officer Sofía Larkin at slarkin@elpasodiocese.org or 915.433.2003.
