The call to Pray, Serve, and Give continues to grow across the Diocese of El Paso. Learn about the upcoming Stewardship Training and how you can help honor a faithful steward in your parish, school, or ministry.
The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso continues the implementation of the new Parish Stewardship Manual, Pray, Serve, and Give: A Disciple’s Guide to Parish Stewardship. The Northeast Vicariate will be the first vicariate to receive parish-level stewardship training on Saturday, June 27, at St. Joseph Parish from 9:00 am – 12:00, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm helping parish leaders build a culture of prayer, service, and generosity within their communities. This training is offered in collaboration with Tepeyac Institute.
As Northeast parishes prepare for this important initiative, the Catholic Foundation also reminds pastors, Catholic school administrators, and diocesan ministry directors that nominations for the 2026 Steward of the Year Contest are still being accepted. The contest recognizes individuals who exemplify a stewardship way of life through their faithful service to the Church and community.
The nomination deadline is Monday, June 29, 2026. We encourage parish, school, and ministry leaders to prayerfully consider nominating an individual whose gifts and dedication deserve to be recognized and celebrated throughout the Diocese of El Paso. Nomination forms are available in the Clergy Corner.
