Jim Wahlberg will be the keynote speaker for the 18th Annual Foundation of Faith Dinner, Serving with Corazón, “Faith in Action,” on September 5, 2024, at the Starlight Event Center! We will also honor Monsignor Arturo Banuelas as the Dei Gratia award winner.

Jim Wahlberg aims to serve God by writing, speaking, filmmaking, and serving our community. He is a producer, writer, and director of films and uses his talents and experiences to raise awareness about addiction and point to the hope found in Christ.

He is the author of The Big Hustle and Executive Producer of the number one documentary film, across all genres, of 2022, “Mother Teresa: No Greater Love,” & most recently, “Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist.”

Jim has been married to his lovely wife, Benny, for 30 years, and they have three children.

Monsignor Bañuelas will be presented with the prestigious Dei Gratia Award.

Msgr. Arturo Bañuelas is the founding director of the Tepeyac Institute, a diocesan ministry formation center established in 1988. It is one of the largest in the nation and trains laity for parish ministry. He co-founded the Academy of Catholic Hispanic Theologians of the United States (ACHTUS) in 1989 and was named president in 1991.

Msgr. Arturo Bañuelas founded the El Paso Inter-faith Alliance in 2013 and, in 2015, established the Hope Border Institute–Instituto Fronteriza Esperanza, which focuses on justice issues in the three border dioceses of El Paso, Las Cruces, and Juárez.
