Every day, the Communications Department of the Diocese of El Paso works to share the life, mission, and ministries of our local Church with our community and beyond. Through print, television, digital media, and social platforms, this vital ministry helps proclaim the Gospel and keep our faithful connected to Christ and one another.
This year, the Rio Grande Catholic newspaper celebrates 35 years of serving our Diocese. Month after month, the RGC brings inspiring stories of faith, ministry, and parish life into homes across our region, reminding us that we are all part of something greater than ourselves.
The Communications Department also produces the weekly televised Mass in both English and Spanish for our sick and homebound brothers and sisters. What began during the pandemic has now become an essential ministry, providing a spiritual lifeline for many whose only connection to the Eucharist and their parish family comes through these broadcasts.
In addition, the department shares timely diocesan news, pastoral messages, and stories of hope through local, national, and international media outlets, as well as through a growing digital presence that reaches thousands each day.
Through your generous support of the Progress Annual Ministry Appeal, this important ministry continues to connect, inform, inspire, and evangelize. Your gifts help ensure that the message of Christ reaches homes, hospitals, parishes, and communities throughout our Diocese and beyond.
Did You Know? The weekly televised Mass, now in its fifth year, continues to bring the Eucharistic celebration into the homes of countless faithful who are unable to attend Mass in person. Your sacrificial generosity helps bring the message of Christ beyond the church walls and into the hearts and homes of thousands!
Thank you for helping us share the Good News, Building His Kingdom, Together.
