As a separate legal entity from the Diocese of El Paso, the Catholic Foundation is not affected by the recent reorganization of the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso. We remain committed to our core purpose of raising funds necessary to sustain the parishes, schools, ministries, and charities that continue the teachings of Jesus Christ in our Diocese. All monies raised through the Catholic Foundation are only used for the parishes, programs, services, and ministries for which they are designated. No gifts are used to satisfy legal fees or settlement costs associated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of El Paso’s reorganization.

Now more than ever, we are counting on the community to help us fulfill that mission. Our hearts and prayers remain with the victims and their families.

For many young adults, these years are filled with questions, challenges, and discoveries. Catholic Campus Ministry meets them right where they are—with compassion, truth, and joy—offering a spiritual home away from home.

In bustling student centers and quiet campus chapels, you’ll find dedicated campus ministers and student leaders who live out the Church’s mission daily. They host Bible studies that spark real conversations. They gather students for Mass, adoration, and confession, creating sacred spaces in the midst of hectic schedules. Retreats, service projects, and social events invite students to encounter Christ and build lasting friendships rooted in faith. Lives are changed here.

Students like Ana, who arrived at UTEP unsure of her faith, found her vocation to serve after a mission trip with the campus ministry. Juan, a first-generation college student, rediscovered the Eucharist through the witness of his peers. Alyssa, once unsure of a path to follow, found strength through community and is now discerning religious life.
