For the past several years, gifts from Bishop’s Legacy Circle members have been a significant source of support for the Catholic Foundation. By significant, I mean that the Catholic Foundation has grown from $177,000 in seed money in 2001 to 79 permanent endowed funds in 2013 to 105 funds and a Catholic Legacy Fund value of $23.5 million at the end of 2021. We are 94% towards our short-term goal of $25 million. A fund of that size will generate $1M in annual support. That is a big and important number—so THANK YOU!
Gifts from Bishop’s Legacy Circle members come in for many different reasons, in varying amounts, and all are welcome. Just as Bishop’s Legacy Circle gifts come in a broad array, so too do the individuals who make up our Circle. Over the years we have received gifts from couples, a retired engineer, parishes, a retired teacher, priests, wealth managers, doctors, housewives, religious formation leaders, retired military, and Catholic school alumni.
The mission of the Bishop’s Legacy Circle is to is to recognize those individuals, couples, and organizations who have established a new endowed fund or Named Fund with the Catholic Foundation. The Catholic Foundation makes a measurable impact on the lives of thousands of people in our community and strengthens their faith. None of this is possible without donors like you.
Thank you for taking the journey with us and Happy Feast of Saint Christopher!
