19th Annual Simbang Gabi on Saturday!
19th Annual Simbang Gabi on Saturday!

Pasko na naman! The Christmas season is almost here!

Join us for the Filipino-American community’s celebration of the 19th Annual Simbang Gabi, an age-old Christmas tradition dear to every Filipino’s heart, at St. Patrick Cathedral on Saturday, December 18 at 7pm.

For many Filipinos, this traditional Mass, commencing on the 16th of December and leading up to Christmas Eve, has always been an essential part of the Christmas celebration. The Simbang Gabi in the Diocese of El Paso brings together many kababayan—fellow Filipinos—and guests from different parts of the community, all eager for fellowship_,_ a taste of Filipino food_,_ and, of course, to share the joy of celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus.

The Filipino-American Catholic Community Fund was established in 2007 as a legacy to the Filipino heritage in our diocese and makes annual contributions to support vocations and priests in their retirement. Proceeds from the annual Simbang Gabi benefit the Filipino-American Catholic Community Fund.
