This fund helps support the life and programs of the parish.
A Catholic community began in Fort Hancock in the late 19th century when the town developed as a stage coach stop. The painting of Our Lady of the Rosary, which hung in the original chapel, is now displayed on the wall to the right of the sanctuary in the present church. Holy Rosary was erected as the parish of Santa Teresa in 1920.
