The Reverend Monsignor Francis J. Smith Scholarship Fund was established in his honor and provides scholarships for young students who could not otherwise afford to attend St. Raphael Catholic School.
Reverend Monsignor Francis J. Smith served as the shepherd of St. Raphael Parish and School for 29 years. An energetic and attentive leader, Monsignor Smith is admired for his humor, tenacity, intelligence, and loyalty. In honor of Monsignor Smith’s retirement, a scholarship fund for St. Raphael School was established in Monsignor Smith’s name to help preserve St. Raphael’s mission well into the future.
Gifts and pledges of all sizes are welcome. Tax-deductible donations can be made on a one-time basis or over a period of time—1-5 years, and you can pay with check, credit card, or automatic debit. You may also choose the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso to leave a bequest for St. Raphael School in honor of Reverend Monsignor Francis J. Smith.
Monsignor Smith will be missed but never forgotten. Help honor our beloved Monsignor Smith with a gift in his memory.
